MTI North America Specialty Silicones

MTI Specialty Silicones is based in Richmond, Virginia. Using proprietary production processes and patented chemical formulations, we manufacture an inorganic silicone foam with two physical properties distinct from other silicone foams:

• Densities as low as 80 kg/m3 (5lbs/ft3)
• Thickness of up to 20 cm (8")

MTI Groendyk is based in Buchanan, Virginia, and has over 35 years of experience in the rubber and silicone industry. We mould, fabricate and extrude silicone and organic rubber in solid and expanded form, and we are a recognized industry leader in the manufacture of sponge extrusions. We also have the lightest density heat cured silicone rubber products in the world. MTI Polyfab Aerospace

MTI Aerospace is the dominant supplier of thermal acoustic insulation for the regional and business jet markets. Our teams of thermal, acoustic and mechanical engineers, material scientists and fabricators produce custom-engineered energy management solutions that create a Safe, Quiet, and Comfortable Passenger Environment and reduce aircraft operating costs. In addition, we offer MTI's patented low-density silicone foam for aerospace cushioning products such as seat cushions, bulkhead padding and carpet underlay.

MTI Aerospace is a premier supplier of thermal and acoustical insulation to Bombardier, all models, and Embraer, 170 and 175, 190 and 195 models. We were recently awarded our first contract to supply thermal acoustic parts on the Airbus A380. Magniflow Design Services offers Environmental Control Systems (ECS) design services. We design, integrate, test and troubleshoot ECS, specializing in the low-pressure air distribution of aircraft.
