Magnifoam Silicone Foam represents
a compressible silicone foam material with a range of thicknesses
from 1/32” to over 1” and a density range from
9-30 pounds per cubic foot. Magnifoam has an open cell
structure making it perfect for insulating sealing, sound
and vibration dampening, and protecting for a wide range
of applications and encompassing many industries. Benefits
of silicone foam are low flame, very low compression set,
low closure force, handles temperature extremes, UV & weather
resistant and are UL listed. Applications include automotive
seals and gaskets, telecommunications enclosure gaskets
(radio base stations), Electronics seals and gaskets, aerospace
vibration damping, defense flame/heat barriers, and carpet
underlay for mass transit. |

Our MagniPly Silicone Composites consist of our Magnifoam products
put through a direct cast process which cures our silicone
foam directly onto a sub straight, or fabric for reinforcement.
We direct cast silicone foam onto sub straights such
as fiberglass, Kevlar, aluminum foil, Nomex, and other
fabrics in the same range of thicknesses and widths.
This material boasts a high puncture resistance, superior
tear strength, high durability, UV and weather resistant.
The MagniPly line is also easy to sew; it handles extreme
temperatures, and is a great heat and flame barrier.
A few applications of reinforced silicone foam are specialty
high strength gaskets, vandal resistant cushioning, defense
flame/heat barriers and shields, and aerospace fire-protection
tarpaulin. |
