Seating Foam

Seating Foam MTI-SS offers MF1 silicone foam, a unique blend of proprietary resins and chemistry that creates comfortable and durable foam for all types of high performance seating. MF1 is offered in three densities and is formulated to meet the most stringent flame smoke and toxicity standards in North America, Europe and Asia. A Ten Year Comfort Warranty is offered for all seating applications.

Silicone Foam

  U.S. & Asia   Europe

Magnifoam Silicone Foam represents a compressible silicone foam material with a range of thicknesses from 1/32” to over 1” and a density range from 9-30 pounds per cubic foot. Magnifoam has an open cell structure making it perfect for insulating sealing, sound and vibration dampening, and protecting for a wide range of applications and encompassing many industries. Benefits of silicone foam are low flame, very low compression set, low closure force, handles temperature extremes, UV & weather resistant and are UL listed. Applications include automotive seals and gaskets, telecommunications enclosure gaskets (radio base stations), Electronics seals and gaskets, aerospace vibration damping, defense flame/heat barriers, and carpet underlay for mass transit.

Silicone Sponge

  U.S. & Asia   Europe

MagniCell Silicone Sponge is separated into two categories for production, both range in compression deflection from 2 to 30 psi and in any thickness. The 7000 series is a closed cell silicone material which is available in continuous extrusion rolls, sheets, tape strips, or die cut to customer specifications. The 5000 series is available in a wide range of standard profiles, with the capabilities of designing and producing profiles to customer specifications. Benefits of MagniCell include its ability to handle temperature extremes, excellent gasket material, very low flame, and UV/Ozone resistant. Material specifications on MagniCell include AMS 3195, ASTM D-1056 2D3, MIL-R-6130, MIL-STD 670 TE1, BMS 1-23 and MIL-R46089C GR. M.

Solid Silicone

  U.S. & Asia   Europe

MagniQ Solid Silicone is separated into two categories for production, both available in durometer range from 30 to 70 and in any thickness. The 8000 series is a solid silicone material which is available in continuous extrusion rolls, sheets, tape strips, or die cut to customer specifications. The 6000 series is available in a wide range of standard profiles, with the capabilities of designing and producing profiles to customer specifications. Benefits of MagniQ include its ability to handle temperature extremes, excellent gasket material, Non-toxic, and UV/Ozone resistant. Material specifications on MagniQ include ZZ-R-765 CL 2A, 2B, ASTM D2000, AMS3303, MIL-R-3065, and MIL-STD-417.

Silicone Composites

  U.S. & Asia   Europe

Our MagniPly Silicone Composites consist of our Magnifoam products put through a direct cast process which cures our silicone foam directly onto a sub straight, or fabric for reinforcement. We direct cast silicone foam onto sub straights such as fiberglass, Kevlar, aluminum foil, Nomex, and other fabrics in the same range of thicknesses and widths. This material boasts a high puncture resistance, superior tear strength, high durability, UV and weather resistant. The MagniPly line is also easy to sew; it handles extreme temperatures, and is a great heat and flame barrier. A few applications of reinforced silicone foam are specialty high strength gaskets, vandal resistant cushioning, defense flame/heat barriers and shields, and aerospace fire-protection tarpaulin.

Organic Rubber

Organic Rubber can be molded and fabricated into parts matching customer drawings, and can be provided in sheets, rolls, and slabs. MTI Groendyk manufactures a wide range of organic rubber polymers including natural rubber, neoprene, Nitrile, EPDM, and FKM. These materials exhibit properties such as intermediate temperature resistance, high tensile and tear resistance, oil and fuel resistance, ozone and weather resistance, shock absorbency, and low cost.
